Ailton , full name Ailton Ferreira Silva (born March 16, 1995 in Lauro de Freitas ), is a Brazilian football player .
Career
Ailton was promoted to the first team from the youth of Fluminense Rio de Janeiro . In the 2015/16 season it was loaned to Neftçi Baku . For the following season, Fluminense agreed on a loan deal with GD Estoril Praia . In June 2017, Estoril acquired 45 percent of the transfer rights in Ailton.
On July 18, 2017, he moved to VfB Stuttgart . Ailton signed a contract with the Swabians dated until June 2021. He made his league debut for VfB on August 19, 2017 on the first match day of the 2017/18 season against Hertha BSC .
On January 25, 2018, VfB Stuttgart awarded Ailton to its ex-club Estoril Praia until the end of the season. For the 2018/19 season, the Stuttgart Ailton awarded Sporting Braga . There the defender only came on two missions for the first and one for the second team.
To prepare for the season 2019/20 returned Ailton first to VfB, who in the preseason was relegated to the 2. Bundesliga, back, but in early July after was Azerbaijan to Qarabağ Agdam awarded. After Premyer Liqası 2019/20 was initially interrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Azerbaijan in March 2020 and canceled three months later, Ailton's loan club won the Azerbaijani Championship as the team with the highest points up to that point.
