Life
Aimée Antoinette Camus was the daughter of the botanist Edmond Gustave Camus (1852-1915). She became a botanist herself and worked at the Muséum national d'histoire naturelle in Paris.
Honors
Two plant genera Camusia J.W. Lorch and Camusiella Bosser and a plant species Pseudechinolaena camusiana Bosser were named after her.
