Airport Station is a subway station of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) in the Boston borough of East Boston in the state of Massachusetts in the United States . It offers at Logan International Airport Access Line Blue Line .
history
The station was first opened on January 5, 1952, at the beginning of the 21st century for 23 million US dollars 500 ft (152.4 m ) east of the original building built.

Track, signal and security systems
The underground station has a total of two tracks that are accessible via two side platforms . At the Airport station, the Blue Line vehicles switch from the power supply via the overhead contact line to the conductor rail and vice versa.

The metro station is located very close to the airport at the Porter Street and is completely barrier-free access, the station all the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act fulfilled.
environment
Is at the station a connection to several shuttle buses to the MBTA, the airport, among others, with the ferries of Massport connect as well as the station with the terminals, where connection to the Silver Line is.
