Aist-Naarnal cycle path

The Aist-Naarnal cycle path (also nature park path) is a 48 to 56 km long Upper Austrian circular cycle path, depending on the variant .

The cycle path, signposted with the abbreviation of the Upper Austrian cycle path network R30, has its starting point and destination in Au an der Donau , where it meets the Danube cycle path and its side route, the Machland cycle path . The route between Au an der Donau and Perg largely corresponds to the Machland cycle path.

The route through the Naarn and Aist valleys , which is signposted exclusively on public roads, not only uses low- traffic goods roads and municipal roads over long stretches through the Naarn and Aist valleys, but also the partially busy road network (Naarnal-Landesstraße L 572, Aisttal-Landesstraße L 1415, Perger Straße L 1424 and a very short stretch also the Königswiesener Straße B 124). The route leads through the Mühlviertel nature park and through the FFH area , Natura-2000 and the Waldaist-Naarn European protected area .

There are 536 meters to overcome, with the lowest point at 240  m above sea level. A. and the highest at 601  m above sea level. A. lies. The bike path designed for sporty cyclists is described as medium to difficult because of its height profile.

The cycle path crosses the town centers of Au an der Donau (in the market town of Naarn im Machlande ), Perg, Rechberg , Bad Zell , Erdleiten (in the market town of Tragwein ), Reichenstein (in the towns of Gutau and Tragwein), Schwertberg and Aisthofen (towns of Perg and Schwertberg).
