The Aitkenhead Glacier is a glacier in Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows in an east-southeast direction from the Detroit Plateau to the Prince Gustav Canal immediately north of Alectoria Island .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it after Neil Aitkenhead (* 1936), geologist of the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey on Hope Bay from 1959 to 1960.
