The Akebono Point is a headland at the Prince Olav Coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is located immediately northwest of the mouth of the Akebono Glacier in the cooperation lake .
Russian scientists discovered them and named them after the name of the neighboring glacier.
