The Aklestadberg is a 2061 m high mountain of the Lawrence Peaks in the Victory Mountains of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises between the Seafarer and Mariner glaciers .
Scientists from the German expedition GANOVEX III (1982–1983) made his name. It is named after the Norwegian Magnus Aklestad, captain of the Polar Queen on this research trip .
Neighboring summits are in the northwest of Lawinennunatak , in the west of Wenzelberg , the south peak white and Brandalberg and in the southeastern Pedersenberg .
