The film is one of the first films to be shown in Europe with great public interest. The film was shown together with the films Italian Peasant Dance , Komisches Reck , Serpentine Dance , The Juggler Paul Petras , The Boxing Kangaroo , Kamarinskaya , Wrestling and Apotheosis in the Winter Garden on November 1, 1895.

The Staatsbürger-Zeitung reported the following about the films on November 5, 1895:

“The finale of the performance jumps over to the smaller stage of the Bioscop. The ingenious technician uses delightful momentary photography and brings it to an enlarged view, but not rigid, but lively. How he does it the devil should know ”.
