Akron ( Russian Акрон ) is a Russian fertilizer manufacturer based in Veliky Novgorod . In 2010 Akron was Russia's fourth largest producer of compound fertilizers. The company is controlled by Vyacheslav Kantor via a nested structure . The company is listed on the Moscow Stock Exchange in the RTS index .

Akron builds potash at Werchnekamsk ( Russian Верхнекамская Калийная Компания (ВКК) ) and apatite in Partomtschorr and Oleni Rutschei on the peninsula Kola ( Russian Северо-Западная Фосфорная Компания (СЗФК) from, Severo-Zapadnaya Fosfornaja Kompanija [LEC]). Two potash deposits (Talitski in Russia and Saskatchewan ) are currently being developed. Since 2015, rare earth concentrates have also been extracted as a by-product of apatite mining .
In 2015, 6.3 million t of fertilizer were produced in the Dorogobusch , Akron near Veliky Novgorod and Linyi , Shandong production facilities.
