Al Cole
Al Cole (* 21st April 1964 in Spring Valley , New York , USA ) is a retired American boxer and world champion of the Association IBF in the cruiserweight division .

Cole secured the USBA belt against Nate Miller in 1991 with a unanimous point win over 12 rounds. At the end of July 1992, he captured the IBF world title and then defended it five times. In the heavyweight division he competed against some well-known boxers (but could not defeat any), including Tim Witherspoon , Michael Grant Kirk Johnson , Corrie Sanders , Jameel McCline , Sherman Williams , Hasim Rahman and Sultan Ibragimov .
