Al Staehely
Al Staehely (born December 27, 1945 in Austin , Texas ) is a singer and songwriter . In the 1970s he played with Spirit , The Staehely Brothers and The Nick Gravenites-John Cipollina Band . He also produced for the Epic and Polydor labels .
Musical career
In 1970 he left the University of Texas Law School and moved to Los Angeles . There he joined the band Spirit as a bassist and recorded the album Feedback with them.
After he left Spirit in the mid-1970s, he worked mainly as a songwriter.
In the late 1970s he played with John Cipollina and Nick Gravenites and performed at the Rockpalast , among others .
Today he works as a lawyer.
