Alain Corbellari

Alain Corbellari (born February 17, 1967 in La Chaux-de-Fonds ) is a Swiss literary scholar and Romance studies . He is a professor of French medieval literature and a writer from Neuchâtel .

Life

Alain Corbellari received his PhD from the Sorbonne in 1996 . His dissertation, Joseph Bédier écrivain et philologue, was published in 1997. He teaches at the Universities of Lausanne and Neuchâtel . His specialties are the history of medieval studies and the reception of medieval literature in modern times. He published a. a. Des fabliaux et des hommes , Prismes de l'amour courtois et Le Moyen Âge à travers les âges .

Corbellari also composed a children's opera based on Alice in Wonderland , symphonic poems, piano pieces and songs. He edited and published on Charles-Albert Cingria as well as on the music theory writings of Romain Rolland (Prix Meylan 2013 for Les mots sous les notes. Musicologie littéraire et poétique musicale dans l'oeuvre de Romain Rolland ).

In 2006 his novel La mer illusoire was published .
