Alain Levié
Alain Levié (born August 6, 1938 ) is a former French racing driver and entrepreneur.
Career in motorsport
Alain Levié was active in sports car racing in the 1970s . In addition to appearances in various French championships, he competed internationally, especially in the Le Mans 24-hour race . His long-time friend Jean-Marie Lemerle was his team-mate at all of his races at Le Mans . He made his debut in 1975 with 22nd place in the final ranking. This remained his best result in this 24-hour race , where he took part in the race six times.
Apart from Le Mans, his best international result was 17th overall at the 1979 6-hour race in Dijon , a race in the sports car world championship of that year .
