Alain Noury (born November 4, 1945 in Paris ) is a French film actor .

Life

Noury, whose real name is Alain Jean Bourdon-Noury , became known in Germany primarily through a few films that were made in the 1970s as international, mostly German-French, co-productions. He played under the direction of Alfred Vohrer in 1971 in And Jimmy went to the rainbow based on the novel by Johannes Mario Simmel , in 1972 also under the direction of Alfred Vohrer in the melodrama And the Rain blurs every trace and in 1975 in the erotic film The Story of O .

In And Jimmy went to the rainbow , Noury played the young Argentine Manuel Aranda, who wants to solve the mysterious murder of his father. Once in Vienna, he is harassed by representatives of various secret services who demand a mysterious formula from him. It turns out that his father used to work for the Nazis and the formula is a nerve gas. The lexicon of international films judges: Elaborately and effectively staged bestseller film adaptation, which misuses the problems of the present and the past as a background for an ultimately bombastic and implausible mixture of crime, agent film and punk.

In And the Rain Blurs Every Trace , a poignant romance based on the novella Snowstorm by Alexander Pushkin , Alain Noury played a young French student who falls in love with a German. The film was awarded the film title “Valuable” .

Noury was considered a great hope for European cinema in the 1970s, but never made the big breakthrough. Alain Noury showed some of his most important roles in those years mostly in frontal nudity, for example as Dino, the homosexual lover Helmut Berger in The Last Dance of the Blond Devil and as Sergio Vitale, the gay lover of Manuel de Blas , in Le protecteur ( Der ice cold job ). Alain Noury was soon subscribed to adult films such as The Story of the O.

From the mid-1970s until the 1990s he appeared almost exclusively in Yugoslav productions, for example as a seductive foreign nudist in Živko Nikolić's Beauty of Sin .
