Alain Porthault

Alain René Porthault (born July 15, 1929 in Vervins , Département Aisne , † November 25, 2019 in Paris ) was a French sprinter .

At the Olympic Games in 1948 in London he was eliminated in the run-up to the 4 x 100 meter relay . In 1952 in Helsinki he reached the semi-finals over 100 m and was fifth in the 4 x 100 meter relay .

In 1949 he was French champion over 100 m . He set his personal best over this distance of 10.7 s in 1948.
