Alba Silvius
In Roman mythology, Alba Silvius is a descendant of Aeneas and the fifth king of Alba Longa .
His predecessor was his father Latinus Silvius . According to legendary lore, he ruled for 39 years. If one uses the reigns given by Dionysius of Halicarnassus with a back calculation from the traditional year of the founding of Rome , this corresponds to the years 1030 to 991 BC. There are various statements about his successor. According to Livius it was a son named Atys , with Ovid the name is Epytus and with Dionysius of Halicarnassus the successor is called Capetus .
