Latinus Silvius
Latinus Silvius is a descendant of Aeneas and fourth king of Alba Longa in Roman mythology .
His predecessor was his father Aeneas Silvius (after Titus Livius and Diodor ), after Ovid he is the son of Silvius . He ruled for 51 years. If one uses the reigns given by Dionysius of Halicarnassus with a back calculation from the traditional year of the founding of Rome , then this corresponds to the years 1081 to 1030 BC. Chr.
After Diodorus he was a powerful ruler, both in internal affairs and in war. According to legendary tradition, he was the founder of numerous cities, namely: Tibur , Praeneste , Gabii , Tusculum , Cora , Pometia , Lanuvium , Labici , Scaptia , Satricum , Aricia , Tellenae , Crustumerium , Caenina , Fregellae , Cameria , Medullia and Boilum .
His successor was his son Alba Silvius .
