Albert Brinzinger

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Albert Brinzinger (* 1845 , † 1918 ; full name: Friedrich Albert Brinzinger ) was a German builder and entrepreneur .

Life

Albert Brinzinger ran a brick factory . In 1899 he built the restaurant “Zu den Drei Linden”, better known as “Jägerhaus”, in Liebersbronn , which came into municipal ownership in 1918 due to a Brinzinger foundation. Brinzinger was also the donor of material for the children's home in Liebersbronn.

Together with Julius von Jobst, Brinzinger founded the Committee for Boosting Neckar Shipping in order to make the Neckar navigable as far as Plochingen . Brinzinger, who also campaigned for the promotion of the Esslingen Neckar canals, was ridiculed for these efforts during his lifetime. The Plochingen harbor was only opened 50 years after his death. In 1908 Brinzinger traveled with Max von Mülberger and his wife to St. Petersburg for the International Maritime Congress.

The Brinzingerweg in the Esslingen district of Liebersbronn is named after Albert Brinzinger , as is the municipal kindergarten "Albert Brinzinger" at Urbanstrasse 22 in Esslingen.
