Albert Davall

Albert Davall (born November 8, 1821 in Vevey ; † September 17, 1892 ibid) was a Swiss forest scientist .

Edmond Davall's son studied forestry at the University of Gießen and in Stuttgart . In 1851 he received a patent as a forest inspector in the Swiss canton of Vaud . From 1856 to 1878 he was forest inspector for the Lausanne district. From 1878 he turned entirely to botanical and local research into Switzerland.

Davall published numerous scientific articles, including in the journal of the Swiss Forest Association and the bulletins of the Société vaudoise des Sciences naturelles.
