Preserved instruments

Eleven instruments by Delin are known to have survived today, all but one of which are signed by him. They were built between 1750 and 1770:

  • Two harpsichords from 1750 in the possession of the Musikinstrumenten-Museum Berlin and in 1768 privately. Both with a manual and two 8 'registers and a lute slide each .
  • Three pianos from 1751 owned by the Royal Conservatory of Brussels , 1752 owned by the Musikinstrumenten-Museum Berlin and 1760 by the Gemeentemuseum Den Haag . They are similar to harpsichords with two 8 'registers and protruding guide strips. They have an elegant pivot mechanism designed by Delin and only require gravity to return to their starting position.
  • Five spinets from the years 1763 in the possession of the “Royal Conservatory Antwerp” , 1765 in the possession of the Musikinstrumenten-Museum Berlin, 1766 and 1767 both in private hands and in 1770 in the possession of the Royal Conservatory in Brussels. All with an 8 'register.
  • A Ottavino - Virginal from the year 1750th
