Albert Engel (politician)

Albert Engel (born November 5, 1891 in Hauzenberg , † February 24, 1964 in Kirchberg im Wald ) was a German teacher, senior director of studies and politician ( BP ) and a member of the Bavarian state parliament.

Life

After attending high school in Metten and the old high school in Regensburg, he studied philosophy and modern languages ​​at the University of Regensburg and the University of Munich . From 1914 to 1917 he did military service, where he was wounded. After his teaching examination in 1920, he worked as a substitute teacher in several Bavarian cities. In 1925 he became a teacher, and in 1939 he became a professor. From 1950 to 1954, as a member of the Bavarian Party, he was an elected member of the Bavarian State Parliament . After the death of the MP Anton Bielmeier in 1958, Engel was again a member of the state parliament as the appointed successor to the list and represented the constituency of Lower Bavaria .
