Albert Engel (politician)
Albert Engel (born November 5, 1891 in Hauzenberg , † February 24, 1964 in Kirchberg im Wald ) was a German teacher, senior director of studies and politician ( BP ) and a member of the Bavarian state parliament.
Life
After attending high school in Metten and the old high school in Regensburg, he studied philosophy and modern languages at the University of Regensburg and the University of Munich . From 1914 to 1917 he did military service, where he was wounded. After his teaching examination in 1920, he worked as a substitute teacher in several Bavarian cities. In 1925 he became a teacher, and in 1939 he became a professor. From 1950 to 1954, as a member of the Bavarian Party, he was an elected member of the Bavarian State Parliament . After the death of the MP Anton Bielmeier in 1958, Engel was again a member of the state parliament as the appointed successor to the list and represented the constituency of Lower Bavaria .
