Albert Florschütz

Albert Wilhelm Heinrich Karl Florschütz (born July 30, 1819 in Iserlohn , † October 27, 1903 there ) was a German Protestant pastor and author.

Life

Florschütz attended grammar school in Dortmund . He then studied Protestant theology in Bonn and Berlin . In 1840 he became a member of the Corps Guestphalia Bonn . After graduating, he was a pastor at the small evangelical congregation in Hagen for some time . After that he was pastor for many years at the Protestant highest town in Iserlohn . From a Protestant national point of view, he wrote The Political and Social Conditions of the Province of Westphalia during the years 1848 and 1858 . In it he described, among other things, the industrial development and the formation of a workforce. He also wrote a short Christian account of the Koran's doctrine and morals . He was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives in the 10th and 11th electoral periods (1867–1873) . District Administrator Paul Florschütz was his son.
