Albert Jean Martin Grisar (born September 26, 1870 in Antwerp , † October 15, 1930 ibid) was a Belgian sailor .
successes
Albert Grisar won the bronze medal at the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp in the 8-meter class according to the International Rule of 1919. As the skipper of the Antwerpia V , he always crossed the finish line in third and last place behind the two Norwegian boats Sildra and Lyn in three races . The crew of the Antwerpia V consisted of Henri Weewauters , Willy de l'Arbre , Georges Hellebuyck and Léopold Standaert .
Grisar's brother Alfred Grisar was the organizer and participant of the polo tournament of the Antwerp Games. Albert Grisar was also active as a yacht designer and initially Secretary General and later President of the Royal Yacht Club de Belgique .
