Guillaume Marie Denis "Willy" de l'Arbre (born May 31, 1882 in Antwerp , † March 11, 1952 in Boechout ) was a Belgian sailor .
successes
Willy de l'Arbre won the bronze medal at the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp in the 8-meter class according to the International Rule of 1919. In three races with the Antwerpia V , he always crossed the finish line in third and last place, behind the two Norwegian boats Sildra and Lyn . The skipper of the Antwerpia V was Albert Grisar , the crew also included Henri Weewauters , Georges Hellebuyck and Léopold Standaert in addition to de l'Arbre .
