Henri Weewauters (born November 8, 1875 ; † unknown) was a Belgian sailor .

successes

Henri Weewauters took part in two Olympic Games . At the Olympic Games in London in 1908 , he started in the 6-meter class as a crew member of the Zut and secured the silver medal alongside brothers Louis and Léon Huybrechts , who was the skipper of the Zut . After a third place in the first race and a fourth place in the second race, the Zut managed a victory in the last race, so that she finished the regatta behind the Dormy of the British skipper Gilbert Laws in second place. His second Olympic participation in 1920 in Antwerp ended Weewauters by winning the bronze medal in the 8 meter class after the International Rule of 1919. With the Antwerpia V he came in three races always behind the two Norwegian boats Sildra and Lyn on the third and also last place to the finish. The skipper of the Antwerpia V was Albert Grisar ; in addition to Weewauters, the crew also included Willy de l'Arbre , Georges Hellebuyck and Léopold Standaert .
