Albert Hien

Albert Hien (born April 29, 1956 in Munich ) is a German artist .

Life

Albert Hien received a DAAD scholarship in 1982 and that of the Villa Massimo in 1988 . Hien was a participant in Documenta 7 and Documenta 8 . In 1984 he received the promotional award for fine arts from the City of Munich . In 1985 he made the German contribution to the São Paulo Biennale . The Erich Schulze Fountain (1990) in the Munich district of Haidhausen , built in honor of Erich Schulze , GEMA General Director for many years , is a work by Hiens.

From 1997 to 2001 he was a professor at the University of Fine Arts in Braunschweig , after which he took over a professorship at the Munich Art Academy .
