Albert Hunger

Albert Hunger (* 1545 in Kelheim ; † February 11, 1604 in Ingolstadt ) was a Roman Catholic theologian and university professor .

Hunger, the son of Ingolstadt lawyer Wolfgang Hunger, studied at the Collegium Germanicum and became professor of philosophy at the University of Ingolstadt at the age of 21 . After the death of the Protestant theologian Martin Eisengrein , he was appointed Vice Chancellor and Inspector at the university . He was also canon in Eichstätt .

In 1601, accompanied by Jakob Gretser, he was seconded to Regensburg for a religious talk.
