Albert Lederle

Albert Lederle (born December 22, 1874 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein ; † December 31, 1931 ibid) was a German administrative lawyer, most recently head of the Ludwigshafen am Rhein district office.

Life

Lederle was the son of a manufacturer. He studied law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and the Ruprecht Karls University in Heidelberg and became a member of the Corps Suevia Munich (1895) and the Corps Rhenania Heidelberg (1896). In 1903 he was at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen for Dr. iur. PhD. After the assessor exam, he entered the Bavarian administrative service. He worked briefly as a public prosecutor in Ludwigshafen, then for a longer period in Bavaria on the right bank of the Rhine. In 1924 he returned to the Palatinate as senior government councilor and head of the district office in Ludwigshafen . He held this office until his death. 1928-1931 he was chairman of the supervisory board of the district savings bank Ludwigshafen am Rhein . In 1931 he was elected chairman of the “Notgemeinschaft Ludwigshafen und Umgebung”, which collected donations for the winter relief organization of the German people . As a reserve officer, Lederle belonged to the Royal Bavarian 5th Chevaulegers Regiment "Archduke Friedrich of Austria" .
