Schreckenmanklitz ( Westallgäuerisch Schreck e manklitz ) is a village in the Swabian market Weiler-Simmerberg in the district of Lindau (Lake Constance) in Bavaria and part of the Westallgäu region . The place is located between Weiler im Allgäu and Lindenberg im Allgäu , below the Queralpenstrasse .

history

For the first time the place with the Schreckenmanklitz Castle was mentioned in a document in 1366 as "zum Anklis". Haber and monetary interest of the homesteads were given at that time to the horror for anklns .
