Albert Probeck

Albert Probeck (born January 31, 1886 ; † after 1945) was a German actor and theater director .

Life

Albert Probeck had engagements at various Berlin theaters for many years . Until 1932 he was also a theater director at the Wallner Theater in Berlin .

Probeck also worked in various film productions, mostly in supporting roles . Among them was the silent film Mysteries of Life from 1920 with Otto Bernstein and Jenny Schaffer .

He also played in entertainment films such as 1940 in Casanova marries directed by Viktor de Kowa with Karl Schönböck , Lizzi Waldmüller , Fita Benkhoff and Hans Leibelt , and in 1943 in Carnival of Love by Paul Martin with Johannes Heesters , Dora Komar and Hans Moser .

As Albert Probeck's last film work in 1945, there is evidence of participation in Das alten Lied .
