Albino Morales (born May 30, 1940 in Mexico City ) is a retired Mexican football player who acted both in midfield and in attack . He is the only Mexican who has twice participated in an Olympic soccer tournament ( 1964 and 1968 ). After his active career, Morales began working as a journalist and commentator.

Life

In eleven of his 13 years as a professional footballer , Morales was under contract with Deportivo Toluca . In the seasons 1966/67 and 1967/68 he won the Mexican championship twice in a row with the Diablos Rojos . He was also under contract with Club America for a year and a half and then for half a year with its arch-rival Chivas Guadalajara .

Between 1963 and 1969 Morales played 21 international appearances for El Tri , in which he scored two goals (both in the 8-0 win against Jamaica on March 28, 1963).
