Albrecht Delling

Albrecht Delling (born May 21, 1922 in Berlin ; † September 24, 2012 there ) was a German theater director and actor .

Life

From 1954 to 1959, Delling was artistic director at the Nordhausen Theater and established ballet there . From 1955 to 1958 he was first district chairman of the cultural association for the democratic renewal of Germany in Nordhausen. From 1959 to 1964 he was director of the Erfurt Theater and from 1977 to 1987 director of the Berlin Puppet Theater on Greifswalder Straße .

As an actor, he was seen in numerous films and television series in supporting roles in the former GDR , including " Die Gläserne Fackel ", " Gewissen in Aufruhr " and " Rheinsberg ". Even in old age he was still in front of the camera, u. a. 1995 in the Edgar Wallace film adaptation of " The Blind " and 1997 in the TV series " Wilde Zeiten ". His filmography ends in 2010 with the short film "Mein Sascha".
