The Blind is a fictional film from 1995. The film is part of a short Edgar Wallace series on the RTL broadcaster under the overall direction of Horst Wendlandt and is based on elements of the novels by Edgar Wallace .

Susan Howard's encounter with a blind man ends unexpectedly. The supposedly helpless man stuns and kidnaps her. The case is handed over by the Home Secretary to Sir John, head of Scotland Yard. He entrusts Chief Inspector Higgins and Superintendent Lane with the investigation. Their investigations quickly lead Higgins and Lane to murder, girl trafficking, and extortion.
