Albrecht Frister

Albrecht Frister (born January 12, 1933 in Ochenbruck ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Frister attended elementary school and high school and completed his school career in 1950 with the secondary school leaving certificate. After training as an administrative clerk at the employment office in Nuremberg , he initially worked as a clerk in the insurance department of the employment offices in Nuremberg and Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate . After an examination for the senior service, he moved to the community of Schwarzenbruck in 1962 .

In 1960 Frister began to be politically active. He became a member of the district council of Schwarzenbruck and the district council of the district of Nuremberg . In 1966 he became mayor of his home parish. After the district reform, he moved into the district council of the new district of Nürnberger Land . In 1990 he became the first Vice President of the Bavarian Municipal Association . He held all of these offices until 1996, since then he has been the former mayor of the Schwarzenbruck community. From 1994 to 1997 he was a member of the Bavarian Senate for municipalities and municipal associations.
