Albrecht Mahr

Albrecht Mahr (* 1943 ) is a doctor, psychoanalyst, psychotherapist, system builder and author. He has gained international attention by initiating international congresses on the subject of peace and reconciliation work .

Albrecht Mahr worked for many years as a clinical training and control analyst, as well as in his own psychotherapeutic practice. Since 1990 he has been working with system constellations in the tradition of Bert Hellinger . Between 2001 and 2011, a series of congresses and events, initiated by Albrecht Mahr and organized by the congress management Brigitta Mahr, took place in Würzburg , which sees itself as a contribution to resolving large group conflicts. Mahr is the first chairman of the International Forum Political Constellations, which he co-founded .

The term “ knowing field ” within the constellation work is traced back to Mahr (2003) . Political constellations gained international significance through Albrecht Mahr . At the University of Innsbruck he teaches political constellations as part of the UNESCO Chair Peace Studies program .

Friendship Across Borders eV (FAB) is one of the many initiatives that have arisen as a result of his congress activities. This association was brought into being by Brigitta Mahr in 2003 and sponsored by Albrecht Mahr. Under the direction of Brigitta Mahr, the association has developed the so-called Peace Carrier Training , which is dedicated to promoting peace and understanding between young adults between the ages of 20 and 27 from Germany, Israel and Palestine .
