Albrecht Schläger (born September 4, 1942 in Marktredwitz ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and Vice President of the Association of Expellees .

The Bavarian SPD politician from Hohenberg an der Eger is a qualified engineer (FH) and forester , was for many years a member of the city council and finally mayor of Hohenberg and a member of the Bavarian state parliament .

Schläger is Protestant and married, he is a member of the Board of Trustees of the House of German East in Munich, a member of the Seliger community and the Sudeten German Landsmannschaft and, since May 2006, Secretary General of the Sudeten German Council . In the Bavarian state parliament he was the spokesman for issues relating to expellees and repatriates of the SPD parliamentary group. Schläger, who is also Vice-President of the Association of Displaced Persons (BdV) and a member of the board of directors of the German-Czech Future Fund, is committed to establishing a European center against displacement in Berlin.
