Albrecht von Ramstein († November 26, 1294 ) was abbot of the Bodensee monastery in Reichenau from 1259 to 1294.

Albrecht von Ramstein, a member of the noble family of the Lords of Ramstein , was initially provost and porter in the monastery of St. Gallen until he was elected Abbot of Reichenau - not least with the support of his relative and St. Gallen Abbot Berchtold von Falkenstein (1244-1272) was (1259), where he prevailed against the resistance of the Bishop of Constance Eberhard II (1248-1274) and was confirmed by Pope Alexander IV (1254-1261). Albrecht succeeded in largely consolidating the Reichenau land and fiefdoms, especially against the claims and expansion of the Teutonic Order (Ordenskommende Mainau ). The awarding of the Reichenau town of Mariazell to the secular Ramsteiners may belong in this context ; Mariazell fell to the Lords of Falkenstein in 1275/1288 and was also an important part of the Schramberg rule .

In the course of the noble family ties, the Reichenau abbot supported his relative Rumo von Ramstein , who was the indirect successor of Berthold's abbot of St. Gallen (1274–1281). In 1285 Albrecht turned down the office of coadjutor in the Cistercian monastery of Salem , which was founded in 1134 . The Reichenau monastery director died on November 26th, 1294.
