The Albstadion is a football stadium with an athletics facility in the Ebingen district of the Baden-Württemberg city ​​of Albstadt , in the Zollernalbkreis district .

history

The facility was inaugurated in 1965 as a very modern sports facility with a running track and a capacity of almost 11,000 spectators. The Bayern Munich , VfB Stuttgart , Torpedo Moscow , FC Schalke 04 , Eintracht Frankfurt and Hamburger SV guest appearances, among other friendly matches in Albstadion.

In the DFB-Pokal 1985/86 appeared on August 24, 1985 in the first main round of FV 07 Ebingen in the Albstadion against 1. FC Nürnberg . The game ended 2: 7 for the club in front of 4,800 visitors .
