Aldo Grimaldi

Aldo Grimaldi (* 1942 in Catania ; † August 5, 1990 in Rome ) was an Italian film director and screenwriter .

Life

Grimaldi came into contact with the film scene at an early age as the son of director Gianni Grimaldi and has worked as an assistant director for genre films since 1962, often for his father or for musical comedies by Ettore M. Fizzarotti . This type of film, often with Al Bano and Romina Power as protagonists, also shaped his first work as a responsible director; later he turned to other films without artistic ambitions such as B. Sexy Comedies too. He also worked as a screenwriter for other directors in 1972 and the following year. He died of an incurable disease at the age of 48.
