Aleksandar Kirow ( Bulgarian Александър Кирилов Киров ; born October 25, 1990 in Sofia ) is a Bulgarian football player .

Career

Kirov comes from the youth of Levski Sofia and made his debut for Levski in an A Grupa game in 2007 . From the 2007/08 season, the club was able to win the championship and the Supercup with Kirov in 2009. In January 2010 he switched to Lokomotive Mesdra on loan and returned to Sofia at the end of the season. In the summer of 2011 he left Levski and joined FC Chernomorets Burgas . In the 2011/12 season he and his team failed to qualify for the Europa League . At the beginning of 2013 he moved to FK Spartak Plewen in the B Grupa . In the summer of 2013, league rival FC Botew Wraza signed him . In early 2014 he joined PFK Montana , where he played until the end of 2015. With the club he achieved promotion at the end of the 2014/15 season . His contract was terminated in January 2016.

At the beginning of 2017, Kirow joined FC Andorf in the Upper Austrian Regional League West. In the summer of 2017 he returned to Bulgaria, where he hired Lok Gorna Orjachowiza in B Grupa. With the newcomer he reached the class remaining in the 2017/18 season . Since summer 2018 he played again for Spartak Pleven.

Aleksandar Kirov also played for the U-19 and U-21 national teams of Bulgaria.
