history

The club was founded in 1932 as ZhSK, Bulgarian ЖСК (Железничарски спортен клуб) , and played in 1963/64 and from 1987 to 1995 in the 1st division .

In 1992 the team became group winners in the Intertoto Cup in 1992 . They prevailed against Lokomotiv Sofia , FC Argeş Piteşti and Rapid Bucharest .

After the 1994/95 season, the club had to relegate to the second division , and two years later even to the third division. At the moment the club is first class again.
