Aleksandra Jadwiga Klejnowska-Krzywanska (born December 17, 1982 in Legnica , Poland ) is a Polish weightlifter .

Career

Aleksandra Klejnowska took part in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , where she was able to achieve seventh place in the weight class up to 58 kg with a total performance of 215 kg. In 2000 and 2004 she was fifth with 202.5 kg and 220 kg, respectively.

Aleksandra Klejnowska celebrated her greatest success so far at the 2001 World Weightlifting Championships, where she won the gold medal in the weight class up to 58 kg with a total performance of 215 kg.

At the European Championships Klejnowska won four gold medals in 2001, 2002, 2004 and 2008. She also won two silver medals in 2000 and 2005, and two bronze medals in 2006 and 2007.

At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London , she started in the 53 kg class and with 196 kg (84 kg + 112 kg) reached 7th place behind the equally powerful but lighter Colombian Barbosa.
