Aleksandre Schuschunaschwili ( Georgian ალექსანდრე ჟუჟუნაშვილი , Russian Александр Иосифович Жужунашвили Alexander Iosifovich Schuschunaschwili * 5. December 1995 in Moscow ) is a Georgian - Russian ice hockey player , who in 2016 since Bakurianis Mimino in the Georgian Hockey League play.

Career

Aleksandre Shushunashvili, who was born to Georgian parents in the Russian capital Moscow , began his career in the Russian junior league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga B , where he stood on the ice for HK Odintsovo and MHK Dmitrov. In 2016 he moved to Georgia, where he has since played for Bakuriani's Mimino in the Georgian ice hockey league.

International

Shushunashvili made his debut for the Georgian national team at the 2018 Division III World Cup . He scored ten goals in five games and provided nine assists, making him top scorer as well as best preparer and top scorer and was also voted the best striker of the tournament. He made a significant contribution to the Georgians' first promotion to Division II.
