Alessandro Piperno

Alessandro Piperno (born March 25, 1972 in Rome ) is an Italian writer and university lecturer.

His debut novel Con le peggiori intenzioni ( Eng .: With bad intentions ), published in 2005, was awarded two important Italian literary prizes, the Premio Viareggio and the Premio Campiello . In 2012 he was awarded the Premio Strega for Inseparabili .

Piperno is considered a great connoisseur of Marcel Proust and teaches French literature at the Tor Vergata University in Rome.
