Alessandro Staccioli

Alessandro Staccioli OMI (born November 13, 1931 in Trieste ) is auxiliary bishop emeritus in Siena-Colle di Val d'Elsa-Montalcino .

Life

Alessandro Staccioli joined the Order of the Oblates of the Immaculate Virgin Mary and was ordained a priest on March 17, 1956 .

Pope Paul VI appointed him on September 26, 1968 Titular Bishop of Taurianum and Vicar Apostolic of Luang Prabang . The episcopal ordination received his Apostolic Vicar of Vientiane , Etienne-Auguste-Germain Loosdregt OMI, the same year on December 8; Co- consecrators were Joseph Khiamsun Nittayo , Archbishop of Bangkok , and Michel Kien Samophithak , Archbishop of Thare and Nonseng .

On November 29, 1975, John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Siena and on December 10, 1990, accepted his resignation.
