Alex Antor (born April 1, 1979 in Narbonne , Département Aude ) is a former Andorran ski racer .

biography

Antor is multiple champion in his home country in slalom and giant slalom . Since January 2004 , he has occasionally competed in the Ski World Cup , mainly in the downhill . He achieved his best placings in the Alpine Combined : in January 2004 he was 19th in Chamonix , in January 2005 in Wengen 18th.

In 2003 Antor took part in an Alpine World Ski Championships for the first time in St. Moritz . He started in three races (slalom, giant slalom and Super G), but did not finish any of them. Things went better two years later at the World Ski Championships in Bormio . Here he was 20th in the combination. He finished 34th in the descent and 45th in the Super G.

He carried the Andorra flag at the opening ceremony of the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin. In the downhill race he finished 39th. After the games, he started at the Andorran championships and some FIS races and ended his career in early 2007.
