Alex Brunnberg

Alex Brunnberg (born August 17, 1915 in Bittingen ; † September 21, 1989 in Brakel ) was a German local politician and district administrator ( CDU ).

Life

After attending elementary school and vocational school , he worked for various companies in Herne and Höxter. On May 1, 1937, he was accepted into the NSDAP ( membership number 4,684,690). From 1945 to 1981 he was a self-employed chemist in Brakel. He was married.

From 1956 to 1961 he was a member of the Brakel Office . From March 19, 1961 until his death on September 21, 1989, he was a member of the district council of the Höxter district . From July 1, 1973 to September 21, 1989 Brunnberg was district administrator of the Höxter district. He was represented in numerous committees of the district council of North Rhine-Westphalia and on the board of the Westphalian-Lippian Savings Banks and Giro Association .

On December 15, 1981, he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class. He has also received numerous other awards. In Brakel there was the Sparkassenstiftung Alex Brunnberg named after him until 2005 .
