Alex Hösl

Alex Hösl (born August 9, 1919 in Nordheim before the Rhön ; † March 20, 1977 between Nordheim before the Rhön and Neustädtles / Rhön) was a German politician ( CSU ).

Life and work

After attending elementary and advanced training schools, Hösl completed an apprenticeship as a tool lathe operator at SKF ball bearing factories in Schweinfurt from 1935 to 1938 , which he completed with a skilled worker examination. From 1939 to 1945 he took part in the Second World War as a soldier and was employed in the Air Force . After the end of the war, he initially worked in the profession he had learned, but later switched to municipal administration.

On March 20, 1977, Hösl had a fatal accident in a traffic accident.

MP

Hösl was a member of the Lower Franconia District Assembly from 1954 to 1962 . In the 1961 Bundestag election he was elected to the German Bundestag , to which he belonged until his death. In parliament he represented the constituency of Bad Kissingen .

From 1965 to 1972 he was the Bundestag delegate for the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe .

Public offices

Hösl served as mayor of the Nordheim community from 1948 until his death . In 1952 he became deputy district administrator of the Mellrichstadt district and, after the regional reform in 1972, deputy district administrator of the Rhön-Grabfeld district .
