Alex and the Lion is a romantic German comedy film directed by Yuri Gárate from 2010.
action
Leo has been in a relationship with Carla for four years, who urges him to marry. However, Leo doesn't want to bind himself so tightly to her. Alexander is with Daniel, but catches him red-handed with someone and ends the relationship.
When Leo admits that he is attracted to men, Carla leaves him in shock. Leo gets to know Alex after he visits a travesty show with his also homosexual friend Tobi and heterosexual friends Kerstin and Stefanie. He is attracted to Alex, but too shy. In a club, Leo collapses after drinking too much alcohol, so Alex takes him to Steffi's nearby apartment. There he rejects Leo's advances. But Leo takes the initiative at Steffi's annual bikini party and they both spend a night together. In contrast to Leo, Alex is currently not interested in a longer relationship for fear of being hurt again. Thereupon Leo throws him disappointed out of the apartment.
After Alex is completely unhappy in Tobi's apartment, Tobi takes matters into his own hands, although he doesn't like Leo. He visits him and tells him to finally make Alex happy. Coincidentally, Alex is ringing the doorbell to apologize. Leo then kisses him. The entire clique is now in happy relationships.
