Alexander Brandner (born September 6, 1992 ) is an Austrian Nordic combined athlete .

Career

Alexander Brandner played his first FIS competition in 2007. On December 9, 2011, he made his debut in the US Soldier Hollow in the Nordic Combined Continental Cup . In the Gundersen competition on the normal hill, he finished 24th. He achieved his best result in this competition series on March 15, 2014, when he won an individual competition in Kuusamo, Finland . He made his debut in the Nordic Combined World Cup on January 26, 2013 in Klingenthal . In the following month he competed in two more competitions in Almaty, Kazakhstan . The best result was a 31st place.

Brandner took part in the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2012 in Erzurum . Together with David Pommer , Franz-Josef Rehrl and Philipp Orter , he won the gold medal in the team competition. This represents the greatest success of his career.

Alexander Brandner completed his last international competition so far on February 13, 2016.
